Craig Conover is no longer keeping up with Paige DeSorbo on social media.
Us Weekly can confirm Conover, 35, is currently not following DeSorbo, 32, on Instagram, but she is still following him. The subtle social media shift comes less than a month after DeSorbo confirmed their split.
“I love him, I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing,” DeSorbo explained on an episode of her and Hannah Berner‘s “The Giggly Squad” podcast in December 2024. “I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
DeSorbo noted that she wanted to remain friends with Conover, adding, “I have so much love and respect for Craig. … I will remain the biggest fan for him and want the best for him, and he truly will get the best, because he is the best. But, with that said, I think it is the right decision for both of us.”
At the time, DeSorbo made it clear that the timing of the announcement wasn’t pre-planned by Bravo.
“It’s a very sad thing. And just to say this — not that I even have to — but in terms of people saying, ‘Oh, Paige was told to wait until Southern Charm came out or Summer House came out.’ No one can tell me what to do,” she noted. “The network has power, but they don’t have that much power.”
DeSorbo added: “That is not a real thing. Rumors of us breaking up months ago was also not a real thing. Our first rumor was that we were in a PR relationship. So we’ve been with these rumors our whole relationship and we didn’t really give it a second thought. But I didn’t want [my listeners] to think I was leaving them out of the loop or something. Not at all.”
Conover, for his part, has remained more tight-lipped about the breakup. He made a rare comment earlier this month via Instagram Story, saying, “[It happened] right before the holidays. I was very shocked. And it’s OK. It takes two people to be in a relationship and you can’t control other people, you can only control how you react to it. Remember to be kind to Paige and me and yourselves and all of that good stuff.”
A source exclusively told Us Weekly recently that Conover was “really pushing for the next steps and wanted to settle down with her,” but being long distance made things difficult.
“Paige does not want to move to Charleston, and logistically it was never going to work out long term,” the insider added. “Many of their friends are not shocked at all, but everyone is sad for them.”
The former couple started dating in 2021 and have defended their decision to date long-distance numerous times throughout the years.
“We spend as much time as we can together and we’re patient with each other,” Conover, who lives in South Carolina while DeSorbo is in New York City, exclusively told Us at the Hayu FanFest in October 2024. “We’re in a great place and, fortunately, New York and Charleston are two awesome places to spend time. We just got to put the work in.”
