Taylor Swift hid a subtle message in her outfit at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Swift, 35, stunned in a Vivienne Westwood red sparkling minidress on the red carpet at the Sunday, February 2, awards show at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. She paired the look with matching red lipstick, styled her hair in loose waves — while a “T” charm from Lorraine Schwartz Jewelry, a collaboration brought together by Swift, her stylist, Joseph Cassell, and Schwartz, hung from the corner of her dress and rested on her upper thigh. The Eras Tour performer also rocked 60 carats of Lorraine Schwartz natural rubies including ruby waterfall earrings, a ruby ring and a natural spinel ring.
While the meaning of the “T” is unclear, fans pointed out it could be a nod to her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, who is set to play in the 2025 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 9. Several social media users noted that Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs also wear a similar red to Swift’s Grammys look.
“I’m taking this as a Tayvis red carpet debut,” one user quipped via X, while another speculated that the chain may be a hint that her highly anticipated Reputation (Taylor’s Version) album could be released soon. “I want to wear his initial on a chain round my leg?? Rep tv??,” the user wrote via X.
Swift is nominated for six Grammys at the 2025 ceremony, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for The Tortured Poets Department, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Music Video for “Fortnight” with Post Malone and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her and Gracie Abrams’ track “Us.” (Swift lost the Best Music Video award to Kendrick Lamar.)
Kelce, for his part, was not present at the awards show on Sunday. The Chiefs tight end, also 35, and his teammates are gearing up to take on the Philadelphia Eagles at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans — which Swift is expected to attend in support.
Swift made history at the 2024 Grammys when she earned her fourth Album of the Year award for Midnights. (Swift previously earned the achievement for Fearless in 2010, 1989 in 2016 and Folklore in 2021.)
After taking home the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for Midnights, Swift announced that she would be dropping her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
“[The way I can celebrate] is by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the past two years, which is that my brand new album comes out on April 19th,” she said at the time. “It’s called The Tortured Poets Department, and I’m going to go post the cover right now backstage.”
