Miranda Lambert is not here for body-shaming.
After Lambert, 41, shared an Instagram image of herself doing goat yoga on Friday, February 28, a social media user slammed her outfit.
“Yikes, legging-type parents are not attractive on people with a little extra here and there,” the Instagram user replied on Friday. “They don’t do you any favors. You are too beautiful to display the unattractive parts. I’m not a fan of leggings on anyone, actually. I’ve seen way more of a person’s business than I wanted to. 🐫.”
Lambert fired back, sharing a screenshot on her Instagram Stories.
“Good to know! 😂,” Lambert quipped on Friday. “I’ll do better about displaying my ‘unattractive parts.’”
In a follow-up slide, the country singer reshared the aforementioned image alongside emojis of a goat, a pair of pink hearts, a blue heart, a cactus and a sun.
Lambert is a noted body-positive advocate, previously praising husband Brendan McLoughlin for helping her stay in shape.
“Sometimes I want to kill him, and sometimes I’m thankful for it,” Lambert joked to Health magazine in December 2019. “I’ll go, ‘That was fun, but my stuff doesn’t fit.’ Then, I’ll spend a month doing Pilates or riding a lot and running. I’m not a runner, but I’m trying to be one.”

She added at the time, “He does a pity run with me, and then he does his real run. It’s sad. These days, I just try to feel good about myself and know that I’m trying. And if there’s wine and cheese, sometimes I have it.”
At the time, the musician further admitted that she’s “been all sizes” throughout her career.
“I’m only 5’4,” so weight shows quickly on me,” Lambert explained to the magazine, noting she’s since found a stride with where she’s at now. “This is pretty much my size. I’m a size 6, give or take five pounds, depending on the day. It’s so good to find your place. I don’t like being onstage worrying about my body. That’s the last thing I want to be thinking about. I don’t give my best performance when I’m distracted by my insecurities.”
