Jesse Solomon is best friends with West Wilson — but that doesn’t mean he agrees with his stance on Summer House castmate Lindsay Hubbard’s future on the show.
“[That] was so overblown,” Jesse, 29, exclusively told Us Weekly of West’s comments about Lindsay coming back for season 10 of the Bravo series. “I didn’t listen to the interview, but I’m sure he was just saying it would be weird if [she came back].”
Jesse teased, “There’s no crib in the house,” but that doesn’t mean he thinks Lindsay, 38, will stay away from the Hamptons when they film again this summer.
“I’m expecting that Lindsay will be back in the summer house,” he told Us while promoting his partnership with FlavCity for their healthy St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock smoothie. “I’m sure she’ll come by herself and then she’ll also bring the baby, and we’ll all see the baby.”

West caused a stir last month when he said during the “Trading Secrets” podcast that “there’s no way” Lindsay would return to the Hamptons after welcoming her first baby, daughter Gemma, in December 2024.
West, 30, explained that “unless they bring the baby” it didn’t seem feasible to have Lindsay remain part of the cast. (Lindsay is an original cast member of Summer House, having been on the series since 2017.)
“I don’t think I can babysit,” West, who joined the cast during season 8, quipped. “I don’t know how that works.”
Lindsay responded to West’s remarks during a March appearance on the “Mention It All” podcast, explaining she had a “problem” with what he said.
“The problem I’m having is, I just became a mother, and this is my job, and I need to be a provider for my daughter,” Lindsay recalled telling West after his comments made headlines.
She told listeners that she explained to West, “You going around being like, ‘There’s no way [she’s returning],’ is not really helpful, and is actually really hurtful. I thought we were friends and I’m trying to be financially independent and provide for my daughter. You saying, ‘There’s no way,’ is really f—ed up.’”
Lindsay also sounded off on West being the “last on the list” when it comes to her approved babysitters for her daughter, whom she shares with boyfriend Turner Kufe. (Lindsay filmed season 9 of Summer House pregnant, which was a first for the crew.)
“West is lucky if he has a job in season 10. I told him that over summer, too,” Lindsay quipped. “I had many talks with him where I was just like, ‘You need to f—ing do something.’ Kyle [Cooke] got mad at him, too. You’re here to do something. If you don’t want to do something, stay at home. … And what did I do? More in my sleep.”
Lindsay clarified that she does “love” West and she was giving him “s— as, like, a big sister.”
West, meanwhile, revealed during the Wednesday, March 12, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that he and Lindsay are not in a media war — despite reports to the contrary.
“That got clickbaited real bad,” West said of their rumored beef. “I brought up how much I loved Lindsay this summer and was asked if she would come back to the house and I said, ‘No way unless you get a babysitter.’”
He explained, “It got headlined real bad and I’ve written headlines before, what you’re supposed to do is keep it within the same narrative obviously, and they did a full 180.”
West confirmed, “I called Lindsay, we squashed it.”
While Lindsay questioned what West brought to the show this season — which is currently airing on Bravo — Jesse’s romance with newbie Lexi Wood has been a central theme. The twosome became hot and heavy shortly after meeting, but Jesse has hinted it’s going to end with a bang.
Jesse even told Us that his “favorite part” of filming season 9 was “those early days falling for Lexi.” He revealed, “We had a lot of fun together,” but played coy as to how the summer came to an end.
“I’ve always been looking for something serious. I feel like I’m not looking for it, but I’m open to it,” Jesse told Us of his relationship prowess, revealing that he’s not swearing off in-house romances after season 9.
“That’s boring. I’m available,” he teased, adding “it’s up” to his housemates whether they want to pursue a romance with him.
As fans wait to see what unfolds on Summer House, Jesse is focused on his latest partnership with FlavCity in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, which is Wednesday, March 17.
“I’m a guy who likes to have a little bit of fun, but also cares about his health and wellness, and that’s what Flav City is all about,” he told Us. “They’re doing a fun Shamrock smoothie for St. Patrick’s Day, but they also use all clean ingredients.”
Jesse described the smoothie as a “grass-fed protein” drink with Stevia and “all good stuff” inside. “I like to feel good and look good, and FlavCity helps me do that,” he added.
