Sean Lowe's Wife Catherine Giudici Shares Message After Dog Attack

As Sean Lowe recovers from being attacked by his dog, the reality star’s wife, Catherine Giudici, has sent a public message of support.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, March 18, Giudici, 38, shared a photo of Lowe, 41, puckering up for a kiss with one of the pair’s three children, daughter, Mia, 4. In the snap, stitches are visible across both of the former Bachelor’s arms.

Giudici, who also shares sons, Samuel, 8, and Isaiah, 6, with Lowe, captioned the photo, “We love this man so much 🧡.” Giudici also tagged Lowe in the post.

The sweet post follows Lowe’s reveal via Instagram on Monday, March 17, that Moose’s attack resulted in stitches in “five or six places” on his arm. “Hey everybody, so, I guess you could say our family has been through something pretty traumatic over the weekend,” Lowe said in an emotional video of himself speaking next to Giudici. “I’ve debated on whether or not we should share this publicly, but I just figured you guys are going to ask questions and probably see things, so I might as well get out ahead of it.”

Courtesy of Catherine Giudici/Instagram Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici thought of a funny way to embarrass their kids on their 10th anniversary. On Friday, January 26, Lowe, 40, posted a video via Instagram of him kissing Giudici, 37, with their son Samuel, 7, in front of them. “Deal with it kid!” Lowe joked, while Samuel […]

Giudici, who fell in love with Lowe during 2012’s season 17 of The Bachelor, wiped away tears as Lowe continued. “On Thursday, I was having some friends of mine over to barbecue. Catherine took the kids to the mall, and we’re just barbecuing here on my patio, and it was a really nice night, so I had the doors and windows open, and some of the smoke from the barbecue started to drift inside, and our smoke alarm started going off,” he recalled. “So I grab a dish rag and I’m going over to waft the smoke away from the smoke alarm, because the siren was insanely loud. And as I’m holding the dish rag, Moose comes up and, like, bites it and kind of nips my finger really aggressively, which is something that he does not do. So, you know, I kind of gave him a, ‘No Moose.’”

Lowe’s reprimand led to Moose biting the star’s shoes so hard that he “put holes” in them before showing his teeth at his owner and attacking him. “I don’t mean, like, bite and run off like a lot of dogs do when they’re scared or defensive. I mean, attacks me, and I feel him just kind of ripping into the flesh of my arm,” Lowe recalled. “At this point, I am doing everything I possibly can just to fend this dog off.”

Lowe said that despite “bleeding badly,” he was able to shift Moose into the backyard, but the dog returned to attack him once again. Upon examining the damage, Lowe determined that the cut was “so deep” that blood was “squirting” for a couple of feet.

Lowe was taken to the ER by his friends, where he received stitches before returning home to clean up a “literal pool” of blood. The following morning, as Lowe and Giudici waited for Lowe’s parents to collect the couple’s children while the pair came up with “the best plan of action,” the dog attacked Lowe again and he returned to the ER for more stitches.

He added that upon reflection, Lowe does not blame Moose for what went down, noting that the dog “experienced a lot of trauma” prior to the family adopting him. “We miss our dog, as weird as that sounds. He was a really, really good dog,” Lowe concluded. “And we miss him.”
