In the main event on Saturday night, middleweight southpaw Austin ‘Ammo’ Williams, 18-1 (12) defeated former NABF and WBO NABO champion Patrice Volny, 19-2 (13) by a 12 round unanimous decision to capture the WBA Continental Americas title at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.

In the first two rounds, Williams controlled with his jab. In the third round due to the high guard of Volny, Williams went to the mid-section before getting Volny to drop his guard in the final minute.

In the fourth and fifth rounds Volny came back well enough to take both rounds. Both mixed it up well in the sixth round with Volny landing a lead right on the chin. In the final seconds Williams rocked Volny with half a minute remaining with a left on the chin.

In the seventh round, it was close, with Williams making Volny drop his guard with body shots landing lefts to the chin. In the tenth round, Williams ended it with a right hook on Volny’s chin.

In the eleventh round Williams had an edge in a close round, rocking Volny with a lead left on the chin in the final minute. In the twelfth and final round Williams dominated with half a dozen body shots at one point. Volny landed a few punches.

The scores were 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113.

WBO NABO super middleweight champion Edgar ‘The Chosen One’ Berlanga, 23-1 (18) stopped Jonathan ‘Mantequilla’ Gonzalez-Ortiz, 20-1-1 (16) at 2:31 of the first round of a 10.

In the first round’s final minute, a left hook from Berlanga on the chin dropped him for an 8-count from Referee Chris Young. Seconds later a right on the chin from Berlanga and down went ‘Gonzalez-Ortiz for another 8-count. Upon rising, he was hit by two punches from Berlanga before Ref Young finally called a halt.

Super welterweight 2024 Olympian Omari Jones, 1-0 (1) knocked out Alessio Mastronunzio (14-6 (4) at 0:22 of the second of a 6.

In the first round, it was all Jones with the left eyebrow of Mastronunzio cut. Jones landed five unanswered punches in the second round when referee Louis Pabon called a halt.

Super Lightweight Jamaine ‘The Technician’ Ortiz, 19-2-1 (9) defeated Yomar ‘The Majic’ Alamo, 22-4-1 (13) by a ten round unanimous decision.

In the first round’s final minute, Alamo rocked Ortiz with a left hook on the chin. In the fourth, Ortiz landed a left uppercut to the chin, putting Alamo against the ropes.

In the sixth and seventh rounds, it went back and forth with Ortiz having an edge. In the eighth round, Ortiz had Alamo against the ropes before Alamo landed a left to the chin and got off the ropes. In the ninth round with the right eye of Ortiz, near closing, he had a good round, having Alamo on the defense for the most part. In the tenth and final round, Ortiz continued out-landing Alamo the entire round.

The scores were 99-91, 99-91 and 98-92. The referee was Massimo Montanini, and the Ring Announcer was David Diamante
