Soap star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, who is best known for her role as Steffy in The Bold and the Beautiful, shared some surprising news with her fans in her weekly newsletter.
“Life has been nonstop over here,” Wood wrote on Monday, March 17.
Between filming an “intense story line on The Bold and the Beautiful” and keeping up with her four kids, Wood says “prioritizing my health is absolutely essential.”
That’s also because she’s almost seven months pregnant with her fifth child.
Calling it “a little secret,” the actress said her “family is beyond excited, and my kids are over the moon. It’s such a special time in our home — so much love, energy and anticipation!”
Wood noted some of the ways she’s making her health and pregnancy a priority is by “continuing to work out, prioritizing protein in her diet, using a red light panel and creating a peaceful home with meditative music.”
Wood and her husband, Elan Ruspoli, have been married since 2018.
The couple currently shares four sons: 6-year-old Rise, 4-year-old Lenox, 2-year-old Brando, and 21-month-old Valor.
Wood announced Valor’s birth with a photo of herself and her son taking some time to bond while soaking in a bath tub.
“Just been taking this time to slow down and soak in this moment,” she wrote at the time.
Confirmation of her fifth pregnancy comes after months of speculation.
Several Reddit users wondered whether Wood was expecting again after wardrobe choices on the show made it “appear” that “she’s attempting to conceal a ‘baby bump’ once more.”
“With the way the story line is going it wouldn’t surprise me. Steffy needs to get away when she finds out Luna is her step daughter,” another fan noted.
