By Nationvegas – 02/01/2025 – Comments Former WBA 140-lb champion Isaac ‘Pitbull’ Cruz (27-3-1, 18 KOs) looked like his old self, defeating the tough Angel Fierro (23-3-2, 18 KOs) by a competitive 10-round unanimous decision on Saturday night at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Cruz, 26, pressed the entire fight, landing hard shots to the head and body of Fierro. The rounds had a back-and-forth flow to them, with both fighters loading up on power shots and having little problem landing. Cruz’s ability to take punishment hasn’t changed since his fight against Gervonta Davis in 2021.
