Josh Allen is checking off his pre-wedding festivities one event at a time.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 28, stepped out at the TGL presented by SoFi match between the Atlanta Drive and the Jupiter Links golf clubs on Tuesday, March 4, with a group of his friends.
Allen was joined at the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida tournament with fellow NFL stars Kyle Allen and Sam Darnold, amongst other pals. While they greeted Atlanta Drive athlete Billy Horschel post-victory, they weren’t quite on his side during the game.
“They were booing me at the very beginning,” Horschel, 38, quipped to reporters after the tournament. “I think we brought them around as we played. … Josh Allen and his boys are great all night. They were awesome. They were funny and, listen, they’re having a blast out here. That’s what it’s all about.”
The occasion, according to a TGL reporter via X, was presumably Allen’s bachelor party. He proposed to actress Hailee Steinfeld in Malibu, California at sunset in November 2024 during his NFL bye week.

“I was very nervous. I think I was most nervous about you finding out about the proposal,” Allen told Steinfeld, 28, in a December 2024 issue of her “Beau Society” newsletter. “It was hard to keep secrets from you and have other people in your life keep secrets from you. Then, multiple times throughout the day a song would come on and I would tear up thinking about how special our day was going to be.”
He recalled, “I said, ‘I couldn’t wait any longer.’ I said, ‘I can’t wait to start a family with you.’ I said your full name, and I asked you very nicely. I said please.”
Allen and the Dickinson alum have been together since 2023, but he kept his proposal intentions a secret until the big day.

“I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’” Steinfeld told Who What Wear in a February cover story. “We were in Malibu, which is my happy place, and it was magical. That’s the word.”
According to Steinfeld, she and Allen have been intentional about keeping their relationship to themselves.
“When you realize that so much is already out there in every other aspect of your life, you really learn to cherish the little that isn’t. It just makes things extra special, and it’s just for you,” Steinfeld gushed.
Steinfeld and Allen made their red carpet debut weeks earlier at February’s NFL Honors when the NFL star took home the award for MVP.
“[To] my fiancée, Hailee: You’ve been my rock,” Allen said in his speech. “You are my best friend. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you. So, with that being said, be good, do good, God bless and Go Bills.”
