Josh Allen’s contract extension salary with the Buffalo Bills has been revealed.
Multiple outlets confirmed that Allen’s new deal with the Bills is worth $330 million. A reported $250 million of that salary is guaranteed — a record for the NFL.
Allen, 28, is now one of the highest paid football players in the league and joins the ranks of quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes, DeShaun Watson and Dak Prescott. Mahomes, 29, signed a 10-year contract for $450 million in 2020. Meanwhile, Watson, 29, agreed to a $230 million guaranteed contract in 2022. Prescott, 31, earned a four-year contract extension of $240 million last summer.
Allen’s new deal comes after his impressive 2024-2025 season. Not only did Allen lead the Bills to their fifth consecutive AFC East title, he is also the current reigning NFL MVP. While accepting the accolade at the NFL Honors in February, Allen gave a shout-out to his fiancée, Hailee Steinfeld, for all her support.
“Last but not least to my fiancée Hailee,” he said in his speech. “You’ve been my rock and my best friend. I would not be standing on this stage if it weren’t for you.”
Steinfeld, 28, also gushed about her partner’s big accomplishment in a February edition of her newsletter.
“TO CELEBRATE: The freaking MVP!! OK, this is a personal one, but I’m so damn proud of my fiancé!” she penned.

Allen and Steinfeld were first romantically linked in May 2023 and have kept their romance relatively low-key. In November 2024, Allen proposed to the actress. Three months later, the couple made their red carpet debut at the NFL Honors.
“Hailee and Josh are extremely private,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly of the pair’s dynamic earlier this month. “They are finally feeling comfortable in sharing more of their relationship and their lives together, but it took several years. They are both private and low-key people and that’s why it works.”
The insider added that Allen and Steinfeld are in the process of planning their nuptials during the quarterback’s offseason.
“They don’t want a long engagement, and the wedding planning is already underway,” the source said. “Hailee is very excited about the planning process and now that Josh is done with the season, she hopes they can have more time to make decisions together.”
The insider noted that the pair’s busy schedules have played a factor in the process. Allen will have to report to training camp in July and Steinfeld is currently shooting a project. However, the twosome are adapting.
“They only have a few timeframes they can have the wedding, so they are nailing down the logistics and are location scouting right now,” the source explained. “It will be a very intimate but extravagant event.”
