Madelyn Cline has a one-word response to suggestions about who she should date next.
In a Wednesday, March 19, Instagram post, celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi shared the results of fans playing matchmaker for single celebrities, including Cline, 27. According to the post, fans ship the Outer Banks star with Riverdale alum Charles Melton.
Cline wasted no time sharing her thoughts on the potential romance in the comments section. She kept her response short and sweet, writing, “No ❤️.” DeuxMoi replied to her comment with several laughing emojis.
Fans also got a laugh out of Cline’s reply, with one user writing, “Mads being chronically online is everything.” Another fan quipped, “THIS DIVAAAAAA.”

Cline shared the same statement in an Instagram post one day prior, including a snap of the word “No” written in lipstick on a napkin in a slideshow. She shared the photo again via her Instagram Story on Wednesday.
Before being connected to Melton, 34, news broke in July 2024 that Cline split from ex Pete Davidson. Us Weekly previously confirmed the pair’s romance in September 2023.
“Pete and Madelyn are dating. They spent the night together at the Beverly Hills Hotel and then had breakfast together there the next morning,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “They were really low-key and kept things casual, wearing baseball hats.”

Months before the pair’s breakup, they were “very much in love,” per a separate source. “One of the reasons their relationship works so well is because they’re both independent and give each other space to miss each other,” the insider told Us in April 2024.
The source added that “Pete loves Madelyn’s dry sense of humor which he thinks is adorable because he’s the same way,” telling Us the actors were “thankful they have a loyal group of close friends because they’ve hung out with several people at a number of events and nobody has leaked their romance.”
One month later, Cline noticeably walked the 2024 Met Gala red carpet solo.
Cline subtly addressed her and Davidson’s breakup in a September 2024 interview with Nylon. When asked what it was like dating a person whose love life has become an internet obsession, she stated, “The jokes write themselves.”
Us confirmed on Wednesday that Davidson — who was previously engaged to Ariana Grande and has dated Kim Kardashian, Kate Beckinsale, Kaia Gerber and Chase Sui Wonders, among others — moved on with model Elsie Hewitt.
Cline has also been linked to several famous faces over the years, including Zack Bia and Jackson Guthy. She dated her Outer Banks love interest Chase Stokes for over a year before calling it quits in 2021. Stokes, 32, sparked a romance with Kelsea Ballerini in early 2023.
