Marvel Rivals Fantastic Four

Marvel Rivals has only been out for a month, and NetEase is ready to add some more heroes to its ranks. First on deck: the Fantastic Four. Reed, Sue, Johnny, and Ben are such a package deal that they’re all showing up soon.

This morning NetEase confirmed that the first season of Rivals (the team shooter debuted last month with a “season 0”), “Eternal Night Falls” will debut later this week, and bring in four new heroes in the form of Marvel’s first family.

Little is currently known about just where the Fantastic Four will slot into Rivals‘ archetype trifecta of Vanguard, Duelist, and Strategist–or if the team will arrive all at once or throughout the season–but they’ll be coming alongside a new map in the form of a New York plunged into darkness by Dracula himself, who’s managed to work together with Doctor Doom to trap Doctor Strange on the Astral Plane while his vampiric forces ravage New York.

The Fantastic Four will come to Marvel Rivals beginning with the launch of season 1 on January 10 at no extra cost to players. And if you can’t get enough of them, it’s a good thing Fantastic Four: First Steps hits theaters July 11, 2025.
