Meghan Markle Shares How As Ever Jam is Made

Meghan Markle’s As Ever brand gave a behind-the-scenes look at how its raspberry jam is made.

On Thursday, March 27, the brand’s official Instagram account shared a reel showing every step of the process, from fresh raspberries being picked to the final product being packaged with the brand’s logo.

“Here we go!” the caption read.

The raspberry jam is one of many products the company plans to launch in the spring of 2025, along with limited edition wildflower honey with honeycomb, flower sprinkles, a range of tea, crepe mix, and shortbread cookies, according to the As Ever website.

Meghan’s jam was the first product the company teased back when it was named American Riviera Orchard in early 2024. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, sent out personalized jars of jam to 50 of her famous friends, including Abigail Spencer, Chrissy Teigen, Kris Jenner and Mindy Kaling.

In an episode of Meghan’s Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, Kaling said receiving the jam was “one of the most glamorous moments of my life.”

However, Kaling said the numbers on the jar made her wonder if there was a ranking system in place.

“As a very hierarchical person, I was like, who are these people?” Kaling, who received jar number 19 of 50, said on the show. “Does having a lower number make me more special?”

“It was just, ‘Let me share them.’ And then people started to take it very personally,” Meghan responded at the time.

More recently, Spencer shared an Instagram reel on Thursday showing the raspberry spread in the new keepsake packaging.

“Start spread-ing the news,” the actor, 43, captioned the clip, quoting Frank Sinatra’s lyrics.

Meghan announced she had renamed the brand in an Instagram post in February.

“‘As ever’ means ‘as it’s always been’ or some even say ‘in the same way as always,’” Meghan said at the time. “This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish — food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday.”
