Michael Jordan’s son Marcus Jordan has been arrested on multiple charges.
Marcus, 34, was reportedly arrested on Monday, February 3, for driving under the influence, cocaine possession and resisting arrest, according to TMZ. No further details about his arrest have been shared, though he was booked in an Orange County, Florida, jail.
Us Weekly has reached out to Maitland Police Department and Marucs’ reps for comment.
Marcus is the second eldest of Michael, 61, and his first wife Juanita Vanoy’s three children, including son Jeffrey, 36, and daughter Jasmine, 32. The NBA legend also shares daughters Victoria and Ysabel, 10, with his second wife Yvette Prieto, whom he wed in 2013.
In addition to belonging to a famous sports family, Marcus is also known to Bravo fans as the ex-boyfriend of The Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen. Us confirmed the couple’s relationship shortly after they first sparked romance rumors in September 2022.
“Marcus and Larsa are dating and have been spending more time together in recent weeks,” a source exclusively told Us at the time. “They are trying to keep it on the down low because of the rift between Scottie and Michael.”
The pair’s relationship was met with some tension, as Larsa, 50, was previously married to Michael’s former basketball rival, Scottie Pippen. When asked whether he approved of his son’s romance with Larsa, Michael told Backgrid in July 2023, “No.”
Larsa said she felt “embarrassed” by Michael’s comment on a July 2023 episode of her and Marcus’ “Separation Anxiety” podcast, adding, “I was, like, traumatized.”
Marcus, for his part, interpreted his dad’s words a different way. “His goal has always been to stay clear of our relationship. I don’t think that my dad wanted to comment on that,” he explained on the podcast. “There’s always that narrative that I’m dating you to get back [at Scottie]. I think [dad] said ‘no’ in a joking way. I thought it was funny out the jump.”
The exes, who appeared together onscreen on many episodes of RHOM, sparked engagement rumors before their initial February 2024 split; just one month prior, Larsa exclusively told Us that she froze her eggs in case she and Marcus “wanted to have kids [together].”
As their breakup was playing out IRL, the two again appeared on the small screen together on season 2 of Peacock’s The Traitors. Their first split didn’t last long as the two reunited before ending things again in March 2024. The pair continued to go on and off before officially calling it quits that July. “I think it’s off. I mean, it’s off, it is off,” Larsa told Entertainment Tonight at the time. “I feel like I’m good. I’m good.”
