In the game of love, Jade Carey appears to have won big.
The Olympic gymnast, 24, surprised fans when she seemingly hard launched her relationship with girlfriend Aimee Sinacola.
“Happy 🤍🔐✨💌 ,” Carey wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, March 19, alongside a series of photos with Sinacola.
Whether capturing selfies in Cincinnati or posing for photos with her gold medal, Carey was all smiles as she introduced her girlfriend to the world.
“ILY,” Sinacola wrote via her Instagram Story when sharing Carey’s social media post.
Soon after posting to Instagram, Carey received well wishes from her extended Team USA gymnastics family including Suni Lee, Ian Gunther and others.
“Freaking cuuuuuute❤️,” Simone Biles wrote in the comments section. Stephen Nedoroscik added, “GO JADE!!!”

Sinacola, who is the director of creative content for University of Oregon Athletics, also reshared a supportive comment from a follower.
“Representation & visibility are so important,” the comment stated. “Sports will always be a catalyst for change & inclusion. Takes folks being brave & their most authentic selves in these spaces. Proud of you @JadeCarey & beyond happy for you & @Aimee_sinacola.”

Carey began her Team USA gymnast career in 2017 and represented the United States at the 2020 and 2024 Olympics.
While competing, Carey won gold in the floor exercise finals at the Tokyo Games and a bronze medal for her vault performance in Paris. She also earned a gold medal in the team final at the 2024 Olympics.
“It just feels so incredible,” Carey shared on Today after winning gold in July 2024. “I’m super excited and super proud of this team and everything that we’ve overcome to get back here and on top of the podium again.”
Since the Olympics, Carey has continued her gymnastics career with Oregon State. Earlier this week, the athlete celebrated her senior year with teammates.
“A (senior) day to remember forever 🥹🧡,” she wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, March 18. “As always, go beavs!!”
Through all the highs and lows of her gymnastics career, Carey has always remained grateful for the fans who have provided her encouragement during her routines.
After winning gold at the 2024 Olympics, Carey said the medal wouldn’t have been possible without the support of friends and strangers alike.
“Thank you to everyone for all of your love and support,” she wrote via Instagram in August 2024 after securing another gold medal. “This moment wouldn’t have been possible without you all. Always trust the process and believe in the power of your dreams 🤍.”
