Paris Hilton has hinted that someone as iconic, blonde and beautiful as she is will play her in the forthcoming TV adaptation of her memoir.
Speaking to Extra at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday, March 2, at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, the 44-year-old heiress, reality star, singer, writer, DJ and entrepreneur — did we miss anything?! — also said that she’s delighted that Dakota and Elle Fanning have signed up to adapt Paris: The Memoir, alongside Euphoria production company A24.
“I am so excited to be producing this with Elle and Dakota,” said the star, wearing a sparkly Sophie Couture gown, dramatic sheer black gloves, some dazzling jewelry from Brilliant Earth and a pair of stunning and very affordable Aldo pumps. “They are so sweet. I love them so much. They are so, just, smart, beautiful, kind, lovely, so talented. We’re doing it with A24 as well, White Lotus and Euphoria and all the most amazing shows, so it’s very exciting.”
The star — who also joked that husband Carter Reum was dutifully carrying her stuff while she wowed the red carpet — said that she and the team have already cast someone to take on the coveted role of Hilton herself, but she’s keeping it a secret for now.
“I know, but it’s a surprise,” she teased. “I can’t tell.” She added with a laugh: “She’s blonde! She’s iconic, beautiful, she’s an incredible actress, and people are going to be blown away when they see this.”
Hilton also talked about how important her friendship with Nicole Richie is, and her joy at reuniting with her long-time bestie for the Simple Life reboot, Paris & Nicole: The Encore.
“Just being together, just every day, and then going back to Arkansas together and visiting the family we stayed with and just laughing,” she said. “When Nicole and I are together, I literally feel like I’m 12 years old again. It’s very rare, especially in this town, to have a lifelong friend.”
On the Oscars red carpet itself, Elle Fanning was also asked about the project with Hilton.
Speaking to E! outside the Dolby Theatre, she shared her excitement. “I can’t say much about it,” said the actress, 26. “But we have gotten to work really closely with Paris, which is just a dream come true to get to say that she’s become a friend. I was so obsessed with her when I was young.”
Elle added that she’s also happy to finally be collaborating with her big sister Dakota, 31. “That’s on the bucket list for us,” said the actress.
