Serene Russell is giving fans a glimpse of her romance with Brendan Morais.
In a TikTok video shared on Friday, March 21, Morais filmed Russell brushing his eyebrows while he laid on a couch.
“We’re going to brush them up,” Russell explained, as Morais stared at the camera. “And we’re going to get a big, juicy amount. … It’s brow gel. I just wanted to see what they would look like.”
Russell began laughing as she said that the process was “very satisfying,” adding that she was “swooping” her boyfriend’s eyebrows. Morais showed off the “final result,” while the dog on the couch gazed up at him.
@serenebrookrussell this man really let me play in his brows 😂
“She’s scared,” Russell quipped of the pooch, to which Morais replied, “She’s like, ‘I don’t know who you are.”
“You’re so cute,” Russell added, before planting a kiss on the side of Morais’ face.
“This man really let me play in his brows,” Russell captioned the post, alongside a crying laughing emoji.
The upload comes days after Morais and Russell hard-launched their romance while sharing a series of cozy images via Instagram. The couple captioned their Wednesday, March 19, post with a white heart emoji.
Hours later, Morais’ ex Pieper James seemingly reacted to the news. “Guess it’s time for a story time,” James wrote via her Instagram Story on Wednesday, with the eyes emoji.
Bachelor Nation met Morais when he vied for the affections of Tayshia Adams on season 16 of The Bachelorette in 2020. Russell appeared on the show two years later, hoping to win the eye of Clayton Echard on The Bachelor in 2022. Both Morais and Russell went on to Bachelor in Paradise.
In season 7 of the Bachelor spinoff show, Morais raised eyebrows when he insisted his relationship with James was “super casual” as he pursued a connection with Natasha Parker — but James arrived on the show and claimed that the twosome were dating without “labels.”
After facing backlash from contestants, Morais and James left the show. Us Weekly confirmed in October 2021 that the pair had called it quits.
“Things went downhill once Paradise started airing,” a source shared exclusively at the time, adding that James “had no idea” what happened before she got to the beach. “They tried to make it work but ended up deciding it was best to break up.”
Russell, for her part, met Brandon Jones on Bachelor in Paradise season 8. The duo got engaged in the season finale, but broke up less than one year later. Months later, Russell alleged that Jones was unfaithful. He denied the allegations.
“In light of recent events that have transpired over the last few days, I’ve needed to take a beat to reflect and process my emotions surrounding this delicate matter that is intimate and personal to me,” Jones wrote in an October 2023 Instagram Story statement. “Now that I’ve had a moment to digest, I want to clear the air and respond with my truth.”
Jones continued, “To be transparent, before leaving for Texas, my partner and I made the difficult choice to go our separate ways. As this was a public relationship, we both decided to hold off on sharing the news until we mutually felt it was time, so we [just] shared the news with family and friends. … Unfortunately, during this time of private separation, coming back from Austin, a video [of myself dancing with another woman] came to light, that while harmless, made my ex-partner upset.”
