Shannon Beador is trying her best not to cause even more drama.
While appearing on the Monday, March 17, episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, The Real Housewives of Orange County star avoided spilling major tea about season 19.
“We started in February,” Beador, 60, told host Jeff Lewis before confirming there is plenty of drama already. “Yes, read the papers, the bloggers, whatever.”
When asked how Gretchen Rossi is doing after being named a “friend” of the cast, Beador suggested she has been a good addition.
“Yes I like her,” she explained. “She’s very kind and I think it’s great she’s on the show.”
When Lewis, 54, tried to dig deeper asking if Rossi, 46, has a friend that joined the show, Beador said she doesn’t know. He later followed up to ask if Vicki Gunvalson will pop in for season 19.
“I don’t know. I don’t think so,” Beador replied. “Honestly, I’m in the dark.”
While story lines remain top secret, The Real Housewives of Orange County made news earlier this week when the cast was spotted filming in New Orleans.
Beador and Rossi joined Emily Simpson, Heather Dubrow, Katie Ginella, Gina Kirschenheiter, Jennifer Pedranti and Tamra Judge for an eventful cast trip.
In the middle of filming, Judge seemingly quit the show when she posted a personal message on social media.
“It was a long run! When life gives you real problems this reality s— doesn’t make sense,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on March 9. “Peace out … I’m out.”
While appearing on her iHeartRadio “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast later that month, Judge further explained her apparent decision to quit the show.
“I think I just hit a wall. There’s so much going on in my life and it’s just I don’t know,’ Judge reflected while admitting that she’s been going to therapy. “I just just hit a wall and I feel like I’m gonna be in a full depressed mode.”
As filming continues, Beador is also expected to appear on Bravo’s new series Love Hotel. The reality show brings together some of The Real Housewives franchise’s fan favorites for the ultimate luxurious getaway in the hopes of finding true love.
When asked when the show comes out, Beador played coy by replying, “Soon, I can just say soon.”
A premiere date for The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 has yet to be announced but past episodes are available to stream on Peacock.
