Tom Welling was recently arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, according to reports.
The Smallville alum, 47, was reportedly taken into custody in an Arby’s parking lot in Yreka, California, shortly after midnight on Monday, January 27, according to TMZ, the first to report the news. Welling’s blood alcohol level was reportedly at or above .08 percent, well above the legal limit.
No further details about Welling’s alleged DUI have been released, nor has the actor publicly commented on the incident.

Prior to his reported arrest, Welling gushed about his life on a ranch in Northern California and his wife, Jessica Rose Lee, who celebrated a birthday on Sunday, January 26.
“Happy Birthday to our Angel who makes our dreams come true and inspires us even more!” Welling wrote via Instagram over the weekend. “We love you to the moon and back! @jessicarosewelling #happybirthday #love.”
The Cheaper by the Dozen actor shared several photos of his spouse to commemorate the occasion, including a snap of the pair horseback riding.
One week earlier, Welling gave fans a glimpse at his life on the couple’s ranch. “Grateful #RanchLife two mamas and an OLYMPIA #love,” he captioned a selfie with three of his horses and a mountain range in the backdrop.
Lee, who is a horse lover and equestrian, revealed in November 2024 that it had been four years since the couple purchased their ranch.
Welling and Lee got engaged in February 2018 after four years of dating. That October, Lee revealed she was six months pregnant with the couple’s first child.
“We are over the moon filled with joy, love and so excited,” she exclusively told Us of the news in November 2018. Their son Thomson Wylde was born in January 2019.
The actor married Lee later that year during a romantic ceremony at Sunstone Vineyards & Winery in San Ynez, California, in November 2019. (Welling was previously married to model Jamie White, whom he divorced in 2013 after 10 years of marriage.)

After a decade together, Lee reflected on her life with Welling via Instagram in November 2023. “Ten years together, four as one. Forever the luckiest, this lifetime of love. ♥️,” she captioned a photo of the pair on their wedding day.

The following year, Lee gave fans a glimpse at her life with Welling in honor of his birthday.
“Life is absolutely meant to be celebrated, and it’s so easy to celebrate you! She shared photos of the pair traveling the world, cuddling up with their sons and hanging out on their ranch.
