Stassi Schroeder Says Vanderpump Villa Didn't Dramatize MomTok Visit

It all goes down on Vanderpump Villa when the stars of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives arrive at Château Rosabelle at least, according to fellow guest Stassi Schroeder.

“That was fun,” Stassi, 36, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, March 21, during the Clarins ICONS Event at Los Angeles’ Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. “What you see in the trailer [is] not dramatizing something out of nothing. … I’ve seen all the episodes. That s— goes down.”

Stassi, a former Vanderpump Rules OG SUR-ver, is set to reunite with Lisa Vanderpump during season 2 of Hulu’s Vanderpump Villa. Her arrival was teased in a trailer released on Thursday, March 20. Elsewhere in the footage, the Mormon Wives MomTokkers — Demi Engemann, Jen Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor and Mikayla Matthews — also dropped by the luxury French castle.

At one point, Demi, 31, who is married to husband Bret Engemann, even appeared to flirt with Vanderpump Villa staffer Marciano Brunette.

“There’s still so much unresolved. It’s been up and down, up and down,” Demi told Marciano in the clip, who asked whether she was “living with regret.”

She added, “It was news to me. I saw all the scenes and I couldn’t believe it. So you’re obviously going to have to tune in and see like I did. I can’t.”

While Stassi played coy about the apparent flirtation between Demi and Marciano, 31, she was more forthcoming about the interactions she had with the rest of the MomTok influencers.

Stassi Schroeder‘s dynamic with some of her former Vanderpump Rules costars has shifted following her exit from the Bravo show. Stassi was fired alongside Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni for their past racially insensitive remarks in June 2020. Former castmate Faith Stowers claimed that Stassi and Kristen reported her to the police in […]

“When I hung out with [the Mormon Wives cast], it was so fun. They’re so fun — and they’re sober,” Stassi teased, calling them “so nice” before adding, “Most of them [were]. So, it’s like, ‘Oh! Sober people [aren’t] that fun,’ but they are.”

In addition to Stassi’s whirlwind experience filming Vanderpump Villa, she’s been in a grateful season of life.

“I have two kids. I have an awesome husband. I got to go and film in a 12th-century Italian castle [and] I would just like to enjoy it right now,” Stassi told Us, referring to husband Beau Clark and children Hartford and Messer. “I’m good right now.”

Vanderpump Villa returns to Hulu on Thursday, April 24.
